When my mom reached a point where she was no longer able to take care of herself, I had to make the hard decision to put her into an assisted living facility. Luckily, she recognized that it was too hard to be on her own so she decided that moving was the best thing for her. We spent a long time touring different facilities and learning about what each one had to offer. In the process, we learned a lot about what we did and did not want from the assisted living environment she lived in.
