1. Your Loved One Isn't Eating Properly

As your loved one gets older it may become increasingly harder for them to take care of meals. Since they may only be cooking for themselves they might neglect making healthy meals. So instead, they are eating frozen meals, or take out every night. 2. Your Loved One Isn't Bathing

Another thing that you might notice is that your loved one is no longer taking care of their hygiene. They might be neglecting to shower all together, they may be sleeping in their clothes, or never changing out of the pajamas and so forth. In some cases they might be doing this because they are unable to easily change and bathe themselves. They need more assistance to get ready, so they just avoid doing it.

Additionally, they might be depressed and lonely. When you feel like you have no one who will see you, it is hard to be motivated to put forth the effort to get ready.

When your loved one moves into an assisted living facility they will get help bathing as often as they need. Someone can help them to change their clothes, and can assist with brushing teeth, using the bathroom and so forth. In addition, there are people and company around for them, so that they won't feel so lonely.
